Hello! My name is Aishwarya and I am a junior studying Data Science and Economics with a concentration in Economics. I am also pursuing SCET’s Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology. Prior to joining Berkeley I wasn’t sure about my confidence in programming and statistics, but DATA 8 and a connector course solidified my interest in Data Science because of their approachability and interdisciplinary nature. In my free time I like to cook, watch all things Disney, exercise, and explore the Bay! I am happy to answer questions related to class planning, major related questions, career planning, or any other questions you’re interested in having answered.

Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I am a senior studying Data Science and Psychology. This is my third and final semester as a peer advisor since I will be graduating this spring. I originally applied to college as an applied math major, but also became interested in psychology after the college application process. Upon entering Berkeley, I was set on a combination of the two fields, so I decided on pursuing Data Science with a focus on cognition. During my free time, I enjoy listening to a lot of music, watching Korean dramas, dancing, and volunteering. I also studied abroad in Korea last semester. I am so excited to be back as a peer advisor, so if you have any general questions regarding the data science program (or about studying abroad or double majoring), please feel free to visit me at my advising hours!
