My interest was in text/ content analysis in film and multimedia, and I was majoring in Film Studies back then. I took 6-7 film courses, and 3-semester Korean, before I switched to the Cognitive Science major, where I still study about data for social good. Recently I began my journey in Education, as I recognized more and more issues to be addressed and or improved with help of Technology. I have explored this campus a lot and have been a member of many Orgs before, such as the Daily Cal, CalTV, ASUC, and a few others I founded and or co-founded, including Data Science Society at Berkeley. I’m super excited about the soon-available Data Science major, and I’ll more than happy to help you, a prospective Data Science major student, with any questions you may have about course recommendation, schedule planning, internship interview prep, and on/off campus resources and opportunities, etc. Outside of school, I would enjoy watching films/animes involving social criticism, cyberpunk & anti-utopia.
