We are an AI company (and UC Berkeley Undergraduate startup) that makes software that can recognize human emotions from vocal expressions. Thus far, we have received acclaim for our work on MSNBC, Healthline Media's "Inside Mental Health Podcast", UC Berkeley's Data Science School, and the Discovery Program.

It has been an absolute joy to be partnered with this program for the past 2 years, and we look forward to hopefully being able to develop more innovative ideas with the support of this program and the brilliant students that it offers us the opportunity to meet.

In previous semesters we have worked very hard to develop an algorithm that was capable of discerning human emotions from vocal expressions in real-time, and now that this task has been accomplished we are looking to further refine our algorithm by delving into cutting edge research surrounding new and innovative audio processing and classification techniques.

We will also be working on refining the user interfaces and algorithm designs associated with our Arkham product, which will be used to predict physical violence and police officer misconduct before it happens, in real-time. The goal surrounding this product is to further assure the safety and security of Black, Brown, and minority peoples who may have encounters with police officers of any sort. This product is truly something that we at Koer A.I. believe will serve the public good in a way that most tech companies haven't endeavored to venture towards. Actively improving the lives of everyday people.

In this project, we will discuss new research developments in the field of audio classification and develop software that will hopefully change the lives of everyday people for the better. We will actively endeavor to bring products to the marketplace that serve the public good.
