Mike Olson ’91, M.S. ’92
Co-Founder, Cloudera
Mike Olson spent his career working in the database technology industry, first as a developer and later in customer-facing roles in sales and marketing, before moving into executive management. Most recently he co-founded Cloudera, Inc. and served as its CEO for five years before becoming chief strategy officer. He retired from Cloudera in 2019 and now serves on a number of non-profit boards. He received a bachelor’s degree in computer science and master’s in electrical engineering and computer sciences from UC Berkeley.
