innovate for healthThe Berkeley Institute of Data Science (BIDS) has launched a new health data science program with the Bakar Computational Health Sciences Institute at UCSF and Johnson & Johnson / Janssen. 

The Data Science Health Innovation Fellowship Program, designed to advance data-driven approaches to improve health, is seeking outstanding candidates from industry and academic data science to apply for this 2-year program. Successful applicants will each propose a research project that maximizes data-driven discovery and innovation using the vast health datasets and resources now available, along with the technical, clinical and translational expertise offered by the three organizing partners. 

The application deadline is July 29, 2019.
