Cal Day, Berkeley's annual open house, is coming up on April 21.
You're invited to join us explore the diverse, innovative, and welcoming world of data science at Berkeley.
Cohosted by the Division of Data Sciences and the Berkeley Institute for Data Science (BIDS)(link is external), the Cal Day events are an opportunity to meet and hear from Data Science students, faculty, alumni, and BIDS research fellows.
10 am - 11am - 3 LeConte - David Culler - Data Science Major and Division of Data Sciences
Join David E. Culler, Interim Dean, Division of Data Sciences as he shares about the DS Major, introduces students working in the Division, as well as collaborative efforts in developing the vision for Data Science on campus.
11am - 2pm in BIDS (190 Doe) - Students of Division of Data Sciences
Come and meet students from throughout the Data Science community. From the popular Data 8 introductory class, to student research and teamwork, to our Data Science for Social Good explorations. Hear about research opportunities for Undergraduates. Find out what it is like to be involved in this dynamic student environment.
